How is the ThermaCor 1200 air removal system different than the standard bubble trap used in other systems?
The ThermaCor 1200 is equipped with the ShurGard Vortex air trapping system. This system captures air even when running at its maximum flow rate and only automatically purges when enough air triggers the air volume sensors helping to insure continuous flow when you need it.
How is the heating system safer than existing technologies?
The ThermaCor 1200 uses dry, conduction temperature controlled heating using a highly efficient WaveForm heat exchanger to provide you with safe fluid temperature management.
Is the ThermaCor safe to use in pediatrics? If so, what makes it different?
The ThermaCor 1200 was designed to be safe to use in pediatric cases. It was designed with selectable lower fluid pressures, slower flow rates and smaller volume boluses to meet the clinical needs of the pediatric patient.
